About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SAP consulting organization in Germany that specializes in digital transformation for world-class manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, and industrial clients. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join their System Landscape Transformation practice in Heidelberg.
This role focuses on selective data transition to S/4HANA, supporting clients through complex system migrations, mergers and acquisitions, and global process harmonization. You'll work with proprietary transformation software while advising on both functional and technical aspects of SAP system evolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional and technical analysis, design, and implementation of business process harmonization initiatives
- Execute SAP system transformations in merger and acquisition contexts, particularly within finance and consolidation environments
- Consolidate complex SAP and non-SAP landscapes using specialized transformation tooling
- Contribute to the strategic development of the landscape transformation service line
- Assume planning, coordination, and control responsibilities for national and international SAP transformation projects
- Optionally serve as coach and mentor to junior consultants
- Travel frequency flexible based on your preferences (occasional to regular)
What We're Looking For
- Multiple years of project experience as an SAP application consultant or SAP developer with solid business knowledge in Finance or Logistics modules
- Strong interest in solving combined business-technical challenges that bridge process and IT expertise
- Hands-on experience with data migration and/or system conversions
- Ideally, knowledge of SAP System Landscape Optimization, SAP data migration methodologies, and ABAP development
- Business-fluent English communication skills
- German language proficiency required for this Germany-based role
