IT Sales / Account Manager Server & Storage (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a rapidly growing datacenter hardware specialist based in Cologne. As an IT Sales / Account Manager, you will guide clients through the complete sales cycle—from initial consultation and quotation through order processing, documentation, and delivery. You will build and maintain long-term customer relationships while serving as the technical expert for server and storage solutions.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing the full sales process for new and existing accounts in the datacenter infrastructure space
• Providing expert consultation on server and storage products (HPE, Fujitsu, IBM, and similar platforms)
• Developing tailored solutions based on individual customer requirements
• Contributing strategic ideas and process improvements to management
• Maintaining accurate order documentation and ensuring smooth delivery coordination

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with proven IT sales experience and deep technical knowledge:

• Several years of professional experience in an IT system house or distribution environment
• Strong knowledge of datacenter technologies, particularly server and storage systems (HPE, Fujitsu, IBM, or equivalent)
• Completed degree in business, technology, or a related field, or completed commercial apprenticeship
• Natural sales mentality with excellent communication skills, solution-oriented thinking, and strong negotiation abilities—especially over the phone
• Team-oriented work style with structured, reliable, and collaborative approach
• Fluent German required; English proficiency is highly desirable
