Texas Lifestyle Magazine Digital Media Intern – Fall 2026

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential lifestyle media organization seeking a Digital Media Intern for their Fall 2026 program (January–June 2027). This remote position is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in digital content strategy and social media management within a professional publishing environment.

The internship requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week for 4–6 months. Candidates must be based in the United States, with preference given to those residing in Texas. You'll work directly with experienced publishers and social media professionals who will mentor you through real-world content execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and post content across multiple social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn using content management platforms
• Maintain and execute against a social media content calendar in collaboration with the Social Media Manager
• Monitor audience engagement and respond to followers across all platforms
• Conduct social media research projects as assigned
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly content review meetings via phone or Zoom
• Promote scheduled events and advertiser content according to the editorial calendar
• Support content creation using design tools and content management systems

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled student eligible for academic credit (preferred)
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly for social media formats
• Self-starter with creative initiative and a positive attitude
• Ability to independently manage workflow and prioritize tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic proficiency with Mac or PC, Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and Canva
• Familiarity with WordPress preferred but not required
• Based in the United States; Texas residents strongly preferred
