Full Stack Software Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization expanding their AI-powered financial services platform across the Asia-Pacific region. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and ship product features across their AI finance agent. This is a remote role based in Australia.

You will work on customer-facing applications and internal tools that span insurance, payments, savings, investing, and travel services. This position suits product-minded engineers who move quickly across the entire stack—from frontend interfaces to backend APIs to operational dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing and internal product features end to end across web flows, backend APIs, admin tools, and operational systems
• Support products across multiple financial service verticals including insurance, payments, savings, investing, and travel
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and operations teams to launch features quickly
• Integrate third-party APIs, handle data flows, and improve production reliability
• Use analytics, user feedback, and production monitoring to iterate on features after launch
• Build internal tools that reduce manual work and improve operational speed across the business
• Own features from initial build through launch to post-launch fixes and support

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• Strong frontend and backend fundamentals with modern web frameworks, APIs, databases, and production systems
• Ability to build functional products quickly without requiring complete specifications
• Product sense, UX awareness, and attention to detail when designing user flows
• Comfortable debugging across the entire stack
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplace, consumer apps, or high-volume platforms is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to turn rough requirements into working product
• Mindset that considers user flow, backend logic, and business process together
• Track record of moving fast while keeping systems maintainable
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams
• Must be currently based in Australia

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who prefer working on a single layer of the stack, candidates who need complete specs before starting, developers who avoid production support, or those who cannot provide examples of real shipped work.
