About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential market intelligence organization seeking a Sector Lead (TMT) Directed Content to join their London team. Our client delivers proprietary research content that empowers institutional investors and corporations to make smarter decisions.

In this role, you will oversee the execution of expert research projects within the Technology, Media, and Telecoms sectors, managing a team of Project Managers who generate expert call transcripts covering EMEA and APAC companies. You'll bridge strategic vision and day-to-day operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality, relevant content that meets client needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior research leadership to develop and execute a strategic sector roadmap aligned with market and client priorities
• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, setting clear goals, tracking KPIs, and ensuring accountability across deliverables
• Collaborate with Operations Managers to align operational execution with coverage strategy and optimize workflows
• Own expert budget management for your sector, allocating resources to maximize content ROI while maintaining quality and throughput
• Oversee a structured QA process to ensure transcripts meet high standards for accuracy, relevance, structure, and analytical depth
• Monitor engagement data, identify coverage gaps, and recalibrate project pipelines with research and strategy teams
• Shape content to support revenue-generating efforts including white papers, webinars, and presentations
• Establish feedback loops with stakeholders to enhance quality and insight of future content
• Collaborate with North America teams to ensure consistency and high-quality output
• Partner with Product and Operations teams to pilot AI-enabled tools that improve project throughput, QA precision, and efficiency
• Maintain deep familiarity with TMT sector developments, proactively surfacing new themes and companies to guide research focus

What We're Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role within TMT
• Deep domain expertise in Technology, Media and Telecoms with a strong grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends
• Strong understanding of European and Asian equity markets
• Proven people management experience, successfully leading, mentoring, and developing teams of project managers or analysts
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable research projects that yield high-impact insights
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong command of project economics, capable of managing budgets, optimizing costs, and tracking ROI
• Experience working cross-functionally with research, go-to-market, product, and compliance teams
• Intellectually curious, client-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong understanding of compliance, MNPI, and confidentiality standards across all project types
