About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential energy infrastructure client based in Essen seeking a working student to support critical business functions across Legal, Finance, Controlling, and Treasury. This role offers comprehensive exposure to the economic and legal operations of a modern organization operating in the dynamic eMobility sector.
You will gain hands-on experience across four key departments, applying your academic knowledge in a practical, fast-paced environment while contributing to meaningful projects that drive business operations forward.
Responsibilities
- Legal: Support contract review and management, conduct legal research, assist with compliance and data protection matters
- Finance, Accounting & Taxation: Contribute to bookkeeping activities, tax preparation support, master data maintenance, and account reconciliation
- Controlling: Participate in reporting processes, KPI analysis, optimization projects, and management presentation preparation
- Treasury: Assist with liquidity planning, payment processing, and cash and risk management projects
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Business Administration, Finance, Taxation, Law, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Energy Economics, or related fields
- Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency
- Previous experience with process automation and AI in business processes (e.g., using tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, n8n/Zapier/Make.com, Copilot Studio) and/or experience in Legal Tech & Operations
- Interest in gaining cross-functional exposure across legal and finance disciplines
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
