Senior Software Engineer, Integrated Workflows

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Integrated Workflows team in Argentina. Our client is building the next generation of integration infrastructure that connects their collaboration platform to the essential business tools teams use every day.

This is a platform and product role where you'll design integrations that make collaboration seamless across an organization's existing toolchain—from project management systems to communication platforms to content repositories. You'll build the frameworks that turn one-off connectors into reusable platform capabilities while maintaining the reliability and security standards production systems demand.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve two-way sync with project management systems (Jira, Linear, Asana, and similar platforms) so that decisions become tracked work items that stay synchronized as work progresses
• Design, build, and maintain integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, Office), video conferencing platforms, and notification systems like Slack
• Build and evolve the integration platform itself: shared frameworks, services, and patterns that enable other engineering teams to ship connected experiences
• Own content pathways into and out of the platform, including import panels, third-party image APIs, copy/paste functionality, file upload handling, iFrame embedding, PDF conversion, and export capabilities
• Maintain and support a public API for third-party developers with backwards-compatibility discipline
• Lead projects end to end from research and design through execution, release, and iteration
• Build flexible, maintainable solutions while remaining accountable for quality, performance, reliability, and security across system boundaries
• Design and implement automated testing and documentation strategies, including failure mode handling for external API dependencies
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate team capabilities
• Use AI tools as part of fundamental development workflows

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience integrating with third-party APIs: OAuth and token lifecycle management, webhooks, rate limiting and backoff strategies, pagination, versioning, and graceful degradation patterns
• 5+ years building and shipping large-scale production software as part of agile engineering teams
• Strong track record designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems
• Outcome-oriented, experimental approach to AI-driven development practices
• Proven experience planning technical projects and delivering iteratively with focus on customer value
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to lead technical discussions and navigate trade-offs

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments or startups
• Experience building against Microsoft Teams or Office add-in SDKs, or shipping through partner marketplaces or app review processes
• Experience designing and maintaining public developer APIs
• Python experience
• Familiarity with secure file handling at scale, including permissions checks, malware scanning, and content validation
• Experience with content migration or format conversion between products
