About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology client in their search for a Sales Development Representative based in Canada. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact with potential clients, becoming an expert at communicating value, consulting with prospects across different industries, and learning about their business challenges and goals.

You'll participate in a comprehensive training program where you'll gain deep product knowledge and learn to use a variety of modern sales tools—including an AI-powered stack that helps cut research time significantly and enables smarter, faster outreach.

Please note: this is a hybrid position with an expectation to work from the Toronto office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and deploy personalized omni-channel campaigns to prospective clients
  • Qualify prospective clients through video and phone calls
  • Develop expertise in the company's AI solutions and value proposition
  • Create new outbound prospecting strategies and optimize existing approaches
  • Use modern sales tools including Outreach, LinkedIn, Gong, Vidyard, and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to build long-term relationships with new accounts

  • Deep curiosity, eagerness for feedback, and excitement about learning in an accelerated environment
  • High motivation and enthusiasm for making cold calls
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinking with strong adaptability
  • Previous SaaS experience is a plus, but not required—there are many pathways to sales success
