Contract Accounts Payable Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Contract Accounts Payable Manager for a 6-month engagement. Our client is a fast-growing technology company that processes high volumes of expense and travel activity across their global team. This role offers real ownership from day one, working directly with the accounting leadership team to keep their T&E operations running smoothly through a busy period.

This is a fully remote contract position open to candidates in LATAM, Canada, and the USA.

Responsibilities

You will own the day-to-day accounts payable and travel & expense operations, including:

• Managing expense management platform end-to-end — reviewing, coding, and approving expense reports, chasing missing receipts, and enforcing policy compliance
• Administering travel booking system — reconciling bookings and spend, flagging policy exceptions, and supporting employees through out-of-policy approvals
• Reviewing AP bills for accuracy, coding, and approval routing — catching duplicate invoices and mismatched amounts before they hit the payment queue
• Reconciling expense and travel activity against the general ledger and driving the exception queue to zero before every close
• Serving as the responsive point of contact for vendors — confirming payment details, tracking status, and resolving disputes
• Identifying recurring T&E process issues and proposing documented fixes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of AP & T&E experience, ideally in SaaS or a high-growth environment
• Hands-on experience with modern expense management platforms (Ramp, Navan, Concur, Expensify, TravelPerk, or comparable)
• Sharp eye for detail and solid grasp of expense policy enforcement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a recurring, deadline-driven workload independently
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system is a plus
