Video Content Creator & Editor Intern (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative studio in Berlin that is building its video content presence from the ground up. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work directly with the founding team to create content that people actually want to watch.

You will:

• Develop repeatable short-form video formats and recurring content series
• Shoot founder-led content, conversations, behind-the-scenes footage and company moments
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn videos optimized for each platform
• Turn longer recordings into compelling short-form clips
• Help develop long-form YouTube content and content waterfall strategies
• Identify hooks, stories and moments that stop people scrolling
• Handle pacing, subtitles, sound design, music and basic motion graphics
• Repurpose content intelligently across different platforms
• Direct people on camera and make them feel comfortable
• Develop creative concepts, scripts, hooks, thumbnails and covers with the team
• Organize footage and build internal content libraries
• Publish content, analyze performance and iterate based on results
• Experiment with AI and new creative tools to improve production efficiency

The exact formats are not predetermined—part of your role is helping discover what works and continuing to experiment.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled at a university and able to complete this as a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum)
• Able to spend regular time in Berlin
• Strong English skills
• Ability to shoot strong, usable video with a phone or camera
• Confident editing skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or comparable tools
• Understanding of pacing, hooks, framing, subtitles and sound
• Strong instinct for storytelling
• Understanding of what performs on social media without blindly copying trends
• Comfortable working closely with people on camera
• Ability to give creative direction, not just record what happens
• Can work quickly, reliably and independently
• Proactive in bringing ideas without waiting for instruction
• Curiosity about new formats, creators, platforms and tools

What matters most: Personal projects, TikToks, Reels, YouTube videos and university projects are more important than your CV. We care about creative judgment, energy and potential over a polished resume.

• Location: Berlin, hybrid arrangement
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Hours: 30–40 hours per week
• Start: Flexible, ideally as soon as possible
