Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential social commerce agency seeking a Shop Manager to take operational ownership of high-performing marketplace accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring pricing, promotions, campaigns, product listings, inventory, and overall shop health are optimized and running smoothly.
In this role, you will implement pricing and promotional strategies within platform seller tools, identifying the most effective mechanics including coupons, flash deals, product discounts, bundles, and campaign registrations. You'll register products and shops for platform campaigns and programs, ensuring all deadlines and eligibility requirements are met without exception.
You will analyze performance at product, campaign, and account level to understand what drives revenue and margin, using data to identify the next growth opportunities. This includes setting up and optimizing shop ad campaigns, managing budgets and bidding strategies, and boosting high-performing creator content and live streams.
Inventory monitoring and demand forecasting will be key responsibilities, ensuring you identify potential stock-outs before they impact performance. You'll also monitor shop health metrics including ratings, fulfillment indicators, service levels, and platform compliance, taking proactive action to maintain excellent standing.
Your analytical skills will be put to work turning data into actionable insights—spotting underpriced products, untapped campaign opportunities, categories with growth potential, and new platform features worth adopting.
What We're Looking For
- Initial experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, performance marketing, commercial operations, or account management in a fast-paced environment
- Highly analytical mindset with comfort working with KPIs, profitability metrics, pricing data, and performance analytics—coupled with the ability to translate insights into concrete actions
- Strong commercial understanding of how pricing, discounts, advertising, inventory, and promotions interact to impact both revenue and profitability
- Operationally strong and detail-oriented—deadlines, campaign registrations, pricing updates, and shop health metrics never slip through the cracks
- Proven ability to take ownership and work cross-functionally with growth teams, creator managers, and external partners
- Experience with social commerce platforms, seller center tools, or marketplace management is a strong plus
- Good English skills for internal communication; additional European languages are advantageous
- Based in or willing to relocate to Cologne, Germany
