Head of Operations & Service – Dosimetry

About This Opportunity

We are representing a global medical technology organization seeking an exceptional Head of Operations & Service to lead worldwide manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service functions. This senior leadership role will drive operational excellence across multiple international production sites and service centers, supporting critical medical instrumentation used in healthcare facilities worldwide.

Based in Nuremberg, you will report to the Business Unit President and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to shape global operations strategy, build high-performing international teams, and directly impact customer satisfaction in the medical technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global operations strategy across manufacturing sites in the United States, Germany, and China, ensuring reliable product availability and operational efficiency
• Develop long-term manufacturing footprint and sourcing strategy, including make-versus-buy decisions and production site allocation
• Partner with Finance and business line leaders to align demand forecasts, production planning, and delivery commitments
• Lead global customer service organizations across the United States, Germany, India, and China, ensuring seamless support across all regions
• Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment processes, driving standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Establish performance-driven culture through operational metrics, governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration
• Build and develop international teams, fostering accountability and engagement across geographies
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety guidelines

• Strong accountability and ownership with focus on execution and outcomes
• Fluency in both English and German is required
