About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing impact-focused agency based in Hamburg that is seeking a Recruiter (m/w/d) for parental leave coverage. This is a fixed-term position for one year, part-time (approximately 20 hours per week), starting October 1, 2026.

Our client works with sustainable consumer brands and is rethinking how agencies operate—including how they approach recruiting. They value open, honest, and trust-based culture from the very first candidate interaction. In this role, you won't be a replaceable cog in a process; you'll be the face of the organization for everyone who wants to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting processes from job posting to contract signature
• Create and publish job advertisements on relevant platforms
• Actively source suitable candidates through various channels
• Review incoming applications and pre-select appropriate profiles
• Conduct initial interviews and coordinate further interview rounds with department leads
• Manage candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
• Maintain and develop recruiting processes and tools
• Collaborate closely with team leads and management on workforce planning
• Support employer branding initiatives to maintain visibility in the job market

What We're Looking For

• Initial experience in recruiting, HR, or a comparable position
• Strong intuition for people and ability to recognize potential beyond the resume
• Structured and independent working style with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for engaging with candidates and internal teams
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Good English language skills, written and spoken
• Team-oriented mindset—not a lone wolf or pure process executor
• Located in or able to work from Hamburg, Germany
