Senior Procurement Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential offshore wind organization in their search for a Senior Procurement Lead based in London. Our client is a global player in renewable energy with operational and development assets across multiple continents. This is an opportunity to lead corporate procurement strategy for a growing international business committed to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate procurement activities, delivering sourcing and contracting support for corporate services including office management, IT and digital systems, HR, communications, finance, and legal functions
• Develop and implement sourcing and contracting strategies in partnership with business teams
• Manage the full procurement cycle from inception through contract execution and post-award management, including developing contract terms, remuneration structures, and scope documentation
• Deliver commercial evaluation and negotiation processes through to contract award
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate procurement activity progress
• Work closely with suppliers to identify innovation opportunities and drive risk/reward agreements that deliver value
• Support supply chain development with current knowledge on local content and supplier opportunities
• Ensure achievement of functional and business performance targets while enabling compliant yet efficient procure-to-pay processes

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, with specific expertise in sourcing and contracting activities
• Strong commercial acumen and working knowledge of contracting principles
• Proven negotiation expertise and ability to deliver value through supplier relationships
• Experience with procure-to-pay systems such as SAP and delivering procurement at an operational level
• Ability to perform effectively in team environments, collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and project teams
• Agile, collaborative, respectful, and tactful approach to stakeholder management
• Resilience and comfort operating during periods of change and growth
• Willingness to leave egos at the door and embrace inclusive, collaborative working styles
