Our talent team is representing a confidential logistics organization based in Northern Germany. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team in Hamburg. This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud strategy and lead enterprise-scale Azure implementations in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and administer enterprise-wide public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
• Drive the evolution and optimization of cloud strategy aligned with business requirements
• Develop and evaluate operational concepts for IT systems in Azure environments, covering functionality, security, migration paths, and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with all security requirements, particularly for protection of corporate data in cloud environments
• Monitor performance metrics and availability of cloud services; implement optimizations as needed
• Advise IT colleagues on deployment scenarios and provide troubleshooting support
• Document cloud-based operational processes and produce regular reporting

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with multi-year professional experience in cloud infrastructure
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS
• Proven experience migrating on-premises solutions to cloud platforms
• Knowledge of enterprise technologies and demonstrated project delivery in large organizational structures
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Independent, solution-oriented work style with strong resilience and flexibility
