About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential streaming advertising technology company in their search for a Director of Product Analytics based in Paris. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the product analytics function from the ground up at a high-growth organization that is transforming how brands approach television advertising in the performance marketing era.

Our client operates at the intersection of advertising technology, data science, and product innovation, serving thousands of brands with sophisticated audience targeting and campaign optimization capabilities. As their first dedicated Product Analytics Leader, you will establish analytics as a strategic capability across the entire product organization.

Responsibilities

You will define, lead, and scale the product analytics function. Your core responsibilities include:

• Structure complex and ambiguous problems into actionable analytical projects with clear objectives
• Own project delivery end-to-end, including roadmap planning and resource management
• Drive development of new analytical approaches and statistical techniques to ensure validity of insights
• Act as Product Owner for analytics tools and data assets, overseeing interfaces, schedulers, and reporting systems
• Lead senior-level meetings focused on data-driven decision making
• Arbitrate cross-functional conflicts to ensure alignment while maintaining strong relationships
• Proactively identify and launch new analytical initiatives that drive business value
• Lead hypothesis generation processes using MECE frameworks to ensure comprehensive analysis
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods that distinguish correlation from causation in real-time environments
• Hire, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers
• Own knowledge management and drive best practices across the analytics organization

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in product analytics within technology environments:

• Deep understanding of technology products and business environments, preferably in advertising technology
• Proven ability to influence and gain acceptance from stakeholders in cross-functional settings
• Experience presenting analytical work clearly and synthetically to senior management with actionable recommendations
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, bridging technical data and business strategy
• Strong statistical foundations with experience developing new techniques for experimentation and causal inference
• Experience planning and organizing team missions, including resource allocation and skill development
• High proficiency in SQL and data exploration, with ability to structure complex problems
• Track record of building or scaling analytics teams and functions
• Experience working with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams across multiple domains
