Senior Fullstack TypeScript Developer (Product Engineer)

We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization seeking a Senior Fullstack TypeScript Developer to join their product engineering team in Nantes. Our client operates in the sales technology space with a strong track record of growth and profitability.

You'll have significant ownership over feature development and the opportunity to step into technical leadership within your squad.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features from scratch across the full stack, working independently to enhance user experience and product functionality
• Take ownership of complex projects, from conception through delivery, with minimal oversight
• Serve as technical lead within your squad, driving engineering excellence and setting development standards
• Improve and optimize the existing codebase through strategic refactoring, bug fixes, and performance enhancements
• Work on multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and delivery timelines
• Provide technical guidance to the customer support team, resolving escalated technical issues promptly
• Mentor and train fellow developers, facilitating knowledge sharing and building overall team capacity
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices that impact product scalability

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

• 7+ years of professional experience with TypeScript/JavaScript development
• Proven track record building and maintaining production web applications at scale
• Strong expertise in Node.js and MongoDB; experience with React is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of complex technical projects
• Fast learner who adapts quickly to new technologies, tools, and codebases
• Comfortable working within agile methodologies and iterative development processes
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating in a remote-first environment
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Gather, Slack, Notion, or similar)
• Versatile technical skills spanning front-end integration, back-end development, database optimization, and performance troubleshooting
• Fluency in both French and English; must be based in or willing to work within French timezone hours

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS startup environment
• Self-taught background with a history of personal programming projects demonstrating genuine passion for software development
• Experience mentoring or leading other developers

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €60,000 - €70,000 base salary plus €18,000 performance bonus. Additional benefits through the client include comprehensive health coverage, meal vouchers, transportation allowance, profit-sharing, remote work setup budget, and annual team gatherings.
