Partner Success Manager (w/m/d) – Fintech SaaS Scale-Up

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech SaaS organization expanding its operations in Germany. Our client provides financial and accounting software solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises and tax advisory firms across Europe. As they scale their German market presence, we're seeking a Partner Success Manager to champion customer success and drive adoption of their platform.

This is a remote role based in Germany, ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting or tax advisory who is ready to transition into a dynamic SaaS environment. You'll be instrumental in onboarding new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and shaping processes from the ground up as part of an early-stage German team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete onboarding for new clients—both companies and tax advisory firms—ensuring they achieve maximum value from the platform quickly and effectively
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities for account expansion
• Conduct proactive health checks and regular reviews to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and minimize churn
• Collaborate closely with the German sales team and management to optimize processes, provide product feedback, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
• Develop deep product expertise in the German financial and accounting landscape and share this knowledge with customers
• Travel occasionally within Germany for customer visits (approximately once per month) and to headquarters for onboarding and team events

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of professional experience in accounting, account management, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally in a tax advisory firm environment or alternatively in SaaS or fintech
• Completed training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachangestellter), tax consultant (Steuerfachwirt/Steuerberater), or a degree in finance
• Deep understanding of the needs of businesses and/or tax advisors regarding finances, invoicing, and accounting
• Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a talent for explaining complex topics simply
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and willingness to help shape processes from scratch as part of an early-stage team
• Business-fluent German (C2 level or native) and fluent English for collaboration with international teams
• Enthusiasm for a constantly evolving work environment with high collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Experience aligning daily tasks with business priorities
