Senior Fullstack Developer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization that is driving digital transformation in the public sector across Germany. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join their Finance customer cluster in Hamburg. This role offers approximately 80% remote work with regular on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend components using Java/Java EE and Spring framework
• Build modern user interfaces with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Implement database access layers and integrate relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployment using Kubernetes
• Integrate and advance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Create and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure software quality

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience with strong expertise in Java/Java EE and Spring
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for developing modern frontend applications
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Jenkins for automated application delivery
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and application management with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL; experience with application servers like JBoss is advantageous
• Ideally, experience with JUnit, Mockito, and test-driven development practices
• Very good German language skills at B2 level and basic English at A2 level
• Willingness to attend regular on-site meetings with approximately 80% remote work arrangement
