About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the finance function for one of their healthcare-focused business units. This senior finance leader will report directly to the CFO and serve as the primary finance partner to the vertical's executive leadership team, translating operational performance and strategic priorities into clear financial plans and recommendations.
You will lead a small FP&A team, own the development of annual operating plans and rolling forecasts, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders across revenue operations, product, engineering, accounting, and HR. This role requires strong financial judgment, analytical rigor, and executive presence in a multi-business software environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior finance leader for the business unit, advising executive leadership on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic tradeoffs
- Lead annual operating planning, budget development, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly reforecast processes across revenue, margins, operating expenses, EBITDA, and headcount
- Build and maintain clear financial narratives for performance including variance drivers, bookings risk, revenue conversion, and investment capacity
- Provide primary finance support for quarterly board materials and ad hoc earnings process support
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial review processes with operating leaders, including variance analysis and dashboard interpretation
- Partner with revenue operations and commercial leaders on bookings, pipeline, pricing, retention, and revenue forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on capitalization, product investment, operating metrics, and ROI of strategic initiatives
- Prepare executive-level materials for leadership sessions, board presentations, and strategic planning discussions
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting revenue planning, expense management, business cases, and commercial strategy
- Lead, coach, and develop the FP&A team, establishing clear planning calendars, review cadences, and quality standards
- Oversee financial review and approval workflows for headcount, operating expenses, vendor spend, and budget-impacting decisions
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or business-unit finance leadership experience
- SaaS, healthcare technology, healthcare services, or multi-business portfolio experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, executive reporting, and long-range planning with executive-level exposure
- Strong revenue forecasting and commercial finance experience, including bookings, pipeline, retention, and revenue conversion dynamics
- Proven ability to partner with senior operating leaders and translate business issues into rigorous financial analysis and practical recommendations
- Experience managing and developing finance professionals, including setting operating cadences and raising quality standards
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Experience with ERP, planning, BI, and HR/workflow systems such as Workday, Looker, Power BI, OneStream, or NetSuite preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $240,000-$275,000 USD per year plus bonus. Our client considers scope of responsibilities, work experience, location, education, key skills, and market factors when making compensation decisions. This role may be based anywhere in the United States with flexibility for remote, hybrid, or in-office work. Some travel to headquarters locations may be required.
