Senior Product Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech compliance technology company based in London. Our client is building infrastructure that transforms how regulated organizations manage marketing and product approvals. They've secured strong early traction with major financial institutions and recently closed a significant seed round.

This is a senior full-stack product engineering role with genuine ownership. You'll build complete product features end-to-end—from specification through to production deployment—working on interfaces where AI-driven compliance tooling meets real user workflows. This includes browser extensions, natural-language workflow tools, integration surfaces across design and content platforms, and review dashboards used daily by compliance and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product delivery from concept to production, covering frontend, backend, and third-party integrations
• Build the core product surfaces where compliance reviewers interact with AI-assisted decision-making
• Ship features where machine learning models are integral to the user experience, not bolt-on functionality
• Deploy continuously—you'll ship a change on day one and a feature in your first week
• Contribute to product direction, technical architecture, and prioritization decisions alongside founders
• Integrate with external platforms including Google Workspace, design tools, and marketing workflow systems
• Work directly with customer feedback loops to iterate and improve shipped features

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to independently own and ship end-to-end product features with minimal supervision
• Strong product judgment—you balance speed, quality, and user impact under ambiguity and know when to push back on underspecified requirements
• Product taste and attention to detail while maintaining shipping velocity
• Cross-functional effectiveness with designers, AI engineers, and leadership; you unblock yourself rather than wait
• Fluency with modern AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, agents) and clear opinions on when to trust them versus override
• Strong technical depth in TypeScript and React, comfortable across the full stack
• Experience building products where AI is in the critical path of user workflows
• Proficiency with modern web tooling: Node, Postgres
• Bonus: experience with Cloudflare Workers, Hono, Drizzle, or work in regulated industries (fintech, healthtech, legaltech)

This role requires being in London with four days per week in the Farringdon office. The founders are hands-on and closely involved in daily execution. You'll have direct customer exposure and real input on strategy. This is a fast-paced environment with broad scope—not suitable if you prefer tightly scoped tickets or strict boundaries around working hours.
