About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential gaming entertainment organization in their search for a Director of Product Management to join their central Live Services team in London. This is a remote leadership role focused on building and scaling successful live service games across multiple European studios.
As Director of Product Management, you will serve as a subject matter expert leading a small central team that collaborates with game studios and publishing partners. You'll help build, launch, and manage live service titles while establishing best-in-class embedded capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple game studios on live and upcoming titles, building capabilities to successfully launch and manage live service products
- Engage with development teams on product and commercial strategy, design evaluation, product prioritization, and roadmap planning
- Identify growth opportunities across titles and drive initiatives to successful outcomes through stakeholder influence and relationship building
- Develop and share best practices to help studios evolve their processes and capabilities
- Define product strategy frameworks and standards for live service titles, tailoring approaches to individual games and studios
- Establish and evolve core KPIs in partnership with analytics, research, and marketing teams, ensuring consistent measurement and actionable insights
- Create live service operating rhythms including goal setting, performance reviews, experimentation, roadmap planning, and decision frameworks
- Partner with finance teams to refine revenue models, ensuring alignment between assumptions, product strategy, and core KPIs
- Manage, develop, and grow a small team of product management and live service design professionals
- Connect development teams to competitive research, industry trends, and best practices
- Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across multiple studios
- Define processes and methodologies to elevate product management craft and improve how live service games are built and operated
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in product management and/or live service design with focus on feature development and live operations
- Proven track record working in complex, matrixed development and publishing organizations to deliver results on successful live games
- Seasoned people leader with ability to manage, lead, and inspire highly skilled teams
- Demonstrated success driving initiatives that positively impact core KPIs
- Expert data fluency and experience partnering with analytics, research, and insights groups
- Experience with game economy and monetization modeling, plus analytical tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Diverse development experience spanning different game types, genres, and business models (F2P, paid, cosmetic economy)
- Expert ability to connect creative vision, analytics, and business goals, turning data into actionable product and design decisions
- Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, player motivations, and audience segments across genres
- Ability to understand, conceptualize, and improve game system design, features, and mechanics
- Experience working across products at different development stages from incubation through live operations
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience driving revenue forecasting and KPI frameworks for live service products
- Experience working with publishing partners including marketing, release management, and platform teams
- Experience partnering with studio and publishing leadership and executives
