Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their IT team. In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and maintain server infrastructure
  • Manage internal monitoring systems
  • Develop and maintain IT infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Integrate security checks directly into CI/CD pipelines using Shift-Left approaches
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
  • Manage secrets and secure credential handling
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Perform threat modeling and assess security risks proactively
  • Document processes and infrastructure
  • Monitor current trends and introduce new tools and best practices
  • Advise colleagues on security-related matters

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with:

  • Completed training or degree in IT (Computer Science, Business Informatics) or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of Linux server administration
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their secure operation
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack)
  • Good understanding of networks, firewalls, and common security concepts
  • German language skills (position based in Berlin with remote option throughout Germany)

Position Details: Full-time, remote (Germany-wide) or Berlin office, permanent employment
