Microsoft Communications Consultant (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization in Nuremberg seeking a Microsoft Communications Consultant. Our talent team is looking for a technical generalist who thrives in modern Microsoft 365 environments and enjoys working directly with clients to design sustainable communication solutions.

This role offers the chance to work across the full Microsoft ecosystem rather than specializing in a single product. You'll support clients through advisory and hands-on implementation work, ensuring smooth communication workflows and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement communication solutions using Microsoft products, supporting clients both strategically and operationally
• Work across multiple Microsoft technologies including Exchange, Entra, Teams, Active Directory, and SharePoint
• Build new infrastructure from scratch or guide clients through migrations to optimal communication systems, whether on-premises or cloud-based
• Create clear technical documentation and deliver hands-on training to help clients understand features and functionality
• Manage your own projects independently, coordinating timelines and maintaining oversight of deliverables
• Collaborate with team members, sharing expertise and providing support when colleagues need assistance
• Maintain direct client contact, providing honest and competent consultation while presenting solutions in accessible language

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship in IT (Fachinformatik) or technical degree, with several years of professional experience; comparable knowledge also welcome
• Deep understanding of complex groupware solutions and collaborative software
• Strong knowledge of on-premises environments: Active Directory, Certificate Services, Exchange Server, File Services, SharePoint Server
• Experience with hybrid approaches: Entra Connect, Exchange Hybrid
• Familiarity with cloud solutions: Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online
• Analytical thinking and ability to find targeted solutions while maintaining project oversight
• Customer-oriented approach with genuine enthusiasm for direct client interaction
• Willingness to learn new technologies; if you have experience with IBM Notes or comparable communications platforms instead, we can build your Microsoft skill set together
• Valid Class B driver's license
• German language proficiency required for client-facing work
