Veranstaltungsleiter (m/w/d)-PSD Dome Düsseldorf

Responsibilities

We are representing a premier event venue in Düsseldorf that hosts major sports events, concerts, and corporate functions for thousands of attendees. Our client seeks an experienced Veranstaltungsleiter (m/w/d) to ensure safe, seamless execution of large-scale events.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as official Veranstaltungsleiter in accordance with Versammlungsstättenverordnung (VStättVO) for all venue events
• Develop and maintain safety and operational protocols in coordination with municipal authorities, fire services, police, and emergency responders
• Lead and coordinate security, order, and emergency service personnel on event days
• Conduct pre-event inspections, briefings, and official approvals before event commencement
• Act as central point of contact for authorities, event organizers, and internal teams including event management, operations, and technical staff
• Document events, conduct debriefings, and continuously improve safety standards at the venue

What We're Looking For

• Certification as Veranstaltungsleiter per § 38 VStättVO or comparable qualification (such as Meister für Veranstaltungstechnik, Geprüfte/r Veranstaltungsfachwirt/in), or willingness to obtain certification promptly
• Multiple years of professional experience in safety management or event leadership at major venues or large-scale events
• Strong knowledge of assembly venue regulations (Versammlungsstättenrecht), fire safety, and security planning
• Decision-making capability, composure, and assertiveness in critical situations
• Excellent communication skills when working with authorities, service providers, and internal teams
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on the event calendar
• German language proficiency required for regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination
