Senior eCommerce Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean energy technology organization in München that is transforming how businesses approach sustainable mobility solutions. Our talent team is searching for a Senior eCommerce Manager to lead their B2B digital commerce strategy and platform operations.

This is a permanent position offering flexible working arrangements, including remote work options from home and up to 20 days annually from elsewhere in Europe. You'll work in a modern office with excellent public transport connections in München.

Responsibilities

• Strategically and operationally manage the B2B online platform serving electrical contractors, solar installers, and resellers, including UX optimization, shop system functionality, payment processing, and system integrations
• Develop and maintain a sustainable network of installation partners to support the sales strategy
• Execute and analyze on-page sales campaigns and marketing initiatives (affiliate marketing, email marketing) to maximize revenue, effectiveness, and profitability
• Analyze key performance indicators including revenue, conversion rates, average order value, and returns; derive data-driven optimization strategies
• Manage comprehensive product portfolio listings and optimization across marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay
• Monitor market and competitive developments; identify emerging trends
• Collaborate closely with product management, key account sales teams, IT, and logistics departments

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in eCommerce, ideally in B2B environments
• Strong knowledge of common ERP, CMS, and shop systems (e.g., Shopify, Shopware, Magento) as well as marketplace platforms
• Affinity for technology sectors such as electric mobility or renewable energy and their product ecosystems
• Experience in KPI analysis and working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Confident use of online marketing channels and tools (SEO/GEO, affiliate marketing, SEA)
• Solid knowledge of common AI tools and large language models
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on mentality
• Independent working style with excellent communication skills
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken; German proficiency required for this role
