Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Specialist (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential food import organization in their search for a Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Specialist in Hilden, Germany. This is an opportunity to work with an established European importer serving B2B customers across multiple countries, translating brand strategy into effective retail activations across modern trade, discount, and traditional channels.

You'll be the bridge between brand, sales, and execution—ensuring launches, promotions, and point-of-sale concepts deliver real results at retail level.

Responsibilities

• Translate brand priorities into concrete activation plans per customer and channel across modern trade, discount retailers, and selected traditional channels
• Lead product launches and promotional campaigns from concept through to execution, including POS materials, sampling programs, and secondary placements
• Create compelling customer presentations, launch sheets, and sales materials that win retailer buy-in
• Adapt international brand concepts for the German market, making them relevant and executable for local retail environments
• Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, design, procurement, supply chain, and external agency partners
• Track performance KPIs and apply learnings to optimize future activations

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• 4–6+ years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or channel marketing, ideally within FMCG (food/beverage/consumer goods preferred)
• Proven experience with sell-in/sell-out support, product launches, and point-of-sale concepts
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Native-level German and very good business English; Spanish is a plus
• Hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills, and enthusiasm for taking ownership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
