Senior Treasury Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing e-commerce organization in Hamburg that needs an experienced treasury professional to manage liquidity, cashflow, and financing operations during a period of significant international expansion.

In this role, you will:

• Lead liquidity planning and cashflow management, developing rolling forecasts across short, medium, and long-term horizons
• Manage working capital optimization in collaboration with accounting, controlling, procurement, and operations teams to improve payment terms, inventory levels, and capital efficiency
• Oversee relationships with banks, financing partners, and payment service providers while evolving existing financing structures
• Analyze financial risks and implement professional management of currency, interest rate, and liquidity exposures
• Develop treasury processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to create maximum transparency around cash position and financing requirements
• Support executive leadership and finance management with financing decisions, investment analysis, and strategic scenario planning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or working capital management
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cashflow dynamics, financing structures, and financial risk management
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or high-growth company environments is a significant advantage
• Proficiency with Excel and treasury, ERP, or banking systems
• Proven track record working with banks and financing partners
• Analytical, forward-thinking, and precise work style with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly
• German language skills required for this Hamburg-based position
