Account Associate (RISE Program)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential environmental services organization seeking an Account Associate to join their early career development program. This 12-month rotational program offers recent graduates the opportunity to build expertise in water treatment solutions while developing commercial and technical skills across multiple business functions.

This is a full-time, entry-level position within the commercial sales function. You'll work closely with account management teams to deliver water treatment solutions to industrial customers while gaining exposure to both the technical and sales aspects of the business. Responsibilities

• Support account growth initiatives including strategy development, integrated planning, and opportunity identification for assigned territory
• Collaborate with the account management team to drive profitable sales and ensure effective service delivery
• Focus on both new account acquisition and retention of existing customer relationships
• Work directly with customers and prospects to understand and meet their service needs
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, translating business needs into value-added solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels
• Participate in community events and customer engagement activities
• Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for enhanced customer value
• Work frequently in heavy industrial environments including refineries, chemical plants, and power plants

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or closely related discipline (or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of technical experience)
• Less than 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or technical support operations within water process/treatment or related industry
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and Windows-based software programs
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory
• Willingness to reside in assigned region or within customer proximity requirements
• Ability to work in industrial environments requiring Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and similar conditions
• Willingness to comply with stringent drug testing and background check requirements
• Clean driving record for operation of company vehicles
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred:

• Technical experience in water treatment or process-related industries
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The benchmark for this role is approximately $79,825 annually. Final compensation will be based on your knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
