About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology client in Heidelberg who is seeking a working student to join their internal customer service team. This is a flexible role designed around your academic schedule, offering up to 20 hours per week during the semester with the possibility to increase hours during semester breaks. You'll support customers via phone, email, and chat in a collaborative environment without cold calling or traditional call-center pressure. The position offers a generous mobile office option and plannable shift schedules that align with your studies.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat channels
- Develop individual solutions for customer needs and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Document and process cases in the company's systems
- Support the team in day-to-day operations and gain insights into modern customer service practices
- Contribute ideas for continuously improving service quality
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a university or college
- Available to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with flexibility to increase hours during breaks
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, solution-oriented communication style
- Genuine interest in helping customers and resolving their concerns
- Ideally, some previous customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, service industry)
- Excellent German language skills, both written and verbal
- Based in or able to work hybrid from Heidelberg
