Stage Software Engineer – Paris – H/F/X

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consulting organization seeking a Software Engineering Intern for their Paris office. In this role, you will:

• Participate actively in the design and implementation of robust, scalable technical solutions
• Software Architecture: Contribute to application architecture discussions, ensuring code performance and maintainability
• DevOps & Deployment: Work on test automation and cloud deployments using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), package applications in containers (e.g., Docker), and implement data observability tools (e.g., DBT)
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy software solutions on cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Technical Expertise Development: Build expertise in one or more of the following areas: software development, analytics engineering, ML engineering, cloud architecture, or site reliability and security engineering
• Technology Watch: Explore new technologies and tools to optimize working methods

What We're Looking For

Education:

• Final-year engineering student, Master 2, or equivalent with specialization in software engineering, computer science, or web development
• Seeking an internship starting January 2027

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Go, or Scala
• Understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming principles
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong asset
• Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git

Personal Qualities:

• Rigor and attention to detail: Committed to producing clean, quality code
• Team spirit: Able to collaborate and communicate with diverse profiles including Data Scientists and Consultants
• Fluent French for team collaboration and professional English required for international clients

This is a 6-month internship based in Paris (9th arrondissement) with potential for permanent employment upon completion. You'll receive mentorship from experienced engineers, work on varied and complex projects, and have opportunities for cloud certification.
