Role Overview

As a Project Manager at Walshgroup's Chicago headquarters, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects of varying complexity and scope. You'll serve as the central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment on objectives while maintaining focus on delivering results on time, within budget, and to the quality standards our organization upholds.

Core Duties

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations; monitor execution and adjust as conditions require
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams; delegate tasks and manage team performance toward shared objectives
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues; implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders including executives, team members, and external partners
• Track key performance indicators and project metrics; produce status reports and documentation for stakeholders
• Ensure project compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards throughout all phases

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on project management experience in a professional environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or similar)
• Strong command of project management software and tools
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience considered
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred
