Senior Product Manager, Platform

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization that is building next-generation platform solutions with a focus on the European market. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a critical area of their cloud platform, working remotely while serving EU-based customers and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you'll drive product strategy and execution for a major platform component, partnering with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver outcomes that matter. You'll work across infrastructure primitives, managed services, and developer tooling, with particular emphasis on security, compliance, and cryptographic capabilities that are essential for European enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for a significant cloud platform area within your team
• Lead cross-functional projects from problem definition through launch, measurement, and iteration
• Deliver platform features that address data residency, sovereignty, and EU regulatory requirements
• Integrate security, compliance, and cryptography principles throughout your product domain
• Navigate ambiguity by clarifying problem statements, aligning stakeholders, and defining success criteria
• Collaborate with design and research to validate concepts before engineering commitment
• Mentor junior product managers and elevate team standards for documentation and decision-making
• Represent your product area in planning sessions, reviews, and leadership communications
• Define and track metrics that demonstrate product impact

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5–8 years of product management experience in software or technology companies
• Track record of owning and shipping significant product areas
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and trade-offs
• Deep familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly security, compliance, and cryptography
• Proven ability to transform ambiguous problems into shipped product outcomes
• Experience mentoring or leading peers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences

Preferred:

• Computer science, engineering, or related degree, or prior engineering experience
• Background in cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, enterprise software, or AI/ML products
• Knowledge of EU technology landscape including GDPR, data sovereignty, and emerging AI regulations
• Experience in high-growth or early-stage environments
