Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential cyber risk analytics firm seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead for their London office. Our client delivers advanced analytics solutions to the insurance and reinsurance sectors, helping organizations quantify and understand cyber risk through data-driven modeling and threat intelligence.

This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how catastrophic cyber scenarios—including AI-driven threats—are modeled and communicated to institutional clients. You'll work at the intersection of offensive security research, risk modeling, and strategic client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of cyber threat analysts, data scientists, and risk modelers to develop insights and analytics features for insurance industry products
• Own the organization's point of view on technology risk, including threat actor capabilities, security hygiene standards (NIST CSF, CIS), and emerging technology trends
• Develop and maintain the scenario library for cyber catastrophe modeling, with particular focus on AI-driven and emerging threat scenarios
• Manage the assumptions register and expert-judgment governance framework, documenting client-defensible rationale for modeling choices beyond historical data
• Present methodology, threat landscape analysis, and emerging risk trends to clients and prospects, adapting your communication style from analyst-level to C-Suite audiences
• Collaborate across engineering, product management, analytics, and client-facing teams to deliver on strategic projects
• Produce quarterly cyber threat intelligence reports covering threat landscape updates, scenario libraries, and mitigation/exploitation assumption changes
• Translate real-world cyber threat behavior into quantifiable modeling assumptions, scenario likelihoods, severity estimates, and mitigation impacts

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cyber security, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in offensive and/or defensive cyber security
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
• Working fluency in Python or R, SQL, flat files and complex data types (JSON, XML), APIs, and Excel—sufficient to specify and interpret analysis with technical teams
• Demonstrated ability to translate cyber threat intelligence into modeling assumptions and scenarios
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Consulting presence and ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders
• Experience leading project teams in agile, fast-paced environments
• Ability to work effectively with distributed, remote-first teams and meet deadlines
• Creative thinking and ability to respond quickly to emerging threats and their modeling implications

Preferred or developmental areas:

• Experience with analytics and risk modeling methodologies
• Background in SaaS product development environments
• Familiarity with ML techniques and statistical data analysis
• Understanding of AI/LLM risk and implications for cyber risk, social engineering, and critical infrastructure
• Knowledge of Internet technologies such as BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, and related protocols
