Founding SDR (DACH market)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a Founding SDR focused on the DACH market. This is not a role where you execute someone else's playbook—you will be the first SDR hire, working directly with the founding sales team to build the outbound prospecting engine from the ground up.

Our client is modernizing how businesses manage capital through digital banking infrastructure. They are expanding aggressively in Germany and need someone who can open doors with SMB decision-makers while testing new angles across holding companies, PE/VC portfolios, and family offices.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate cold outreach sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn targeting SMB executives (CEOs, CFOs, Finance Directors) throughout Germany
• Map and test prospecting strategies for secondary personas including holding structures, VC/PE portfolio leads, and corporate service providers
• Own pipeline generation by sourcing, qualifying, and booking high-intent discovery meetings for the Account Executive
• Document what works: create templates, messaging frameworks, and best practices that will guide future SDR hires
• Leverage AI-native prospecting tools to automate research, track triggers, and deliver hyper-personalized outreach at scale
• Gather market intelligence from prospect conversations to refine product positioning and objection handling

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of outbound prospecting experience (SDR/BDR) in B2B fintech, SaaS, or financial services, ideally within the DACH market
• Founding or builder mindset: high agency, comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by creating processes rather than just executing them
• Ability to speak credibly with SMB founders and CFOs; curiosity about corporate treasury, entity structures, and financial operations
• Tech-savvy and AI-native: active user of modern sales stacks and AI prospecting tools to maximize efficiency
• Tenacious and resilient, motivated by raw pipeline creation and rapid iteration based on data
• Full professional fluency in German and English required
