Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential industrial technology organization seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead pre-sales technical engagements and forward-deployed solution development. In this role, you will:
- Partner with account executives to drive strategic client opportunities, serving as the technical lead for complex engagements and moving clients from strategy discussions to live AI prototypes
- Design and implement industrial AI agents and automation solutions, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and integration with contextualized data foundations
- Lead use case workshops and technical briefings, translating client requirements into deliverable architectures and building executive confidence through client-focused demonstrations
- Bridge field deployment learnings with product teams, translating implementation challenges into actionable product requirements and scalable best practices
- Orchestrate end-to-end prototypes that integrate GenAI components, data models, and legacy customer systems using modern software practices
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in forward-deployed engineering or pre-sales engineering roles, ideally with enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or industrial software
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Machine Learning, or related field
- Solid foundation in Python and deep understanding of the GenAI landscape including embeddings, RAG, and prompt chaining
- Experience building with LLMs (Gemini, Claude, GPT-4) and agentic AI frameworks
- Ability to design scalable architectures that unify siloed IT/OT/ET data into cohesive solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical engineers and C-level executives
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites
Preferred Experience:
- Education or professional experience in industrial domains such as Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or Control System Engineering
- Previous customer-facing or sales experience
- Experience working with real-world industrial data from Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Life Sciences, or Discrete Manufacturing sectors
