Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology infrastructure client seeking a Data Center AEC Review Specialist. In this remote contract role, you will:
- Review complex engineering tasks in data-center projects to ensure realistic design and construction scenarios
- Evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and compliance with building codes and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
- Identify and resolve ambiguities, conflicting documents, and unrealistic deliverables
- Improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and programmatic checks for better alignment with professional standards
- Produce clear technical findings and validate tasks from start to finish
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- 2+ years of experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects
- Strong command of U.S. building codes and engineering standards
- Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, and technical registers
Preferred:
- Experience in roles such as Senior Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Project Architect
- PE, SE, or RA credentials
- Experience at a leading multidisciplinary AEC or consulting engineering firm
Commitment: 5–10 hours per week, remote, contract position with immediate start available.

Pay
