Sr. Analyst, Sports Analytics

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential sports betting organization seeking a Sr. Analyst, Sports Analytics to join their data-driven team. This role sits at the intersection of analytics and commercial strategy, delivering insights that shape pricing, promotions, customer segmentation, and overall betting operations. You'll partner across product, trading, operations, and finance to inform strategic decisions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of actionable insights addressing key business questions across bonus programs, VIP segments, trading operations, and promotional campaigns
• Manage multiple concurrent short- and long-term analytical projects efficiently
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define analytics strategy within the sports vertical
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders, translating complex quantitative outputs into clear business narratives
• Build and maintain complex datasets, reports, and dashboards to support ongoing business needs
• Measure, evaluate, and optimize bonus and promotional spend through rigorous analysis
• Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate experiments to drive incremental business value
• Develop agents and automations to streamline manual tasks and processes
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a high-performance analytics culture

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and working with large, complex datasets
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R
• Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder-ready dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical and senior audiences
• Experience leading analytical strategies across commercial business functions
• Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests for commercial interventions
• Comfort working with large, sometimes incomplete or complex datasets
• Expert understanding of sports and the sports betting industry in the United States
• Prior experience in a regulated sports betting or iGaming environment strongly preferred
• Business-standard English language proficiency
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship (this role is not eligible for H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, or similar sponsorship)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai is based on experience and qualifications. Our client has indicated a salary range of $92,000 to $120,750 annually for this position, along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus plan.
