Salesforce User Experience Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization that specializes in enterprise cloud platforms and AI-powered solutions. Our talent team is seeking a Salesforce User Experience Designer to join their expanding design practice. In this role, you'll create compelling interactive experiences that deliver measurable business value for end clients while working alongside a talented digital experience team.

This position focuses on overall user experience, including visual design, interaction design, and conversational design for Salesforce-based solutions. You'll work remotely within the United States, with occasional travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design functionality integrated with Salesforce and AWS platforms, including Experience Cloud and conversational AI solutions
• Lead client requirement gathering sessions and collaborative design workshops
• Help business and technology stakeholders visualize end-to-end experiences for customers and internal users
• Establish content strategies, personas, and user journeys for automated solutions
• Generate sitemaps, wireframes, and visual designs for web, bot, and console experiences
• Learn to build and configure Salesforce and AWS solutions as needed
• Collaborate with developers and QA testers throughout the project lifecycle
• Demonstrate the impact of design decisions through storytelling and tie outcomes to success criteria
• Contribute to and maintain design systems across platforms

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Professional experience in user experience and user interaction design
• Proven experience doing design consulting work with external stakeholders
• Ability to build and maintain a design system
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, and Lucidchart
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly (e.g., Salesforce, AWS)
• Degree in design, user experience, human-computer interaction, communication, or a related discipline

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using detailed mockups and prototypes for visual problem solving and client communication
• Experience designing conversational flows for text-based bots (web, in-app, messaging platforms)
• Knowledge of user experience research methods or usability testing techniques
• Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud
