Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalisierung (m/w/d)

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant with ERP and digitalization expertise. As Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalization, you will lead the evolution of the finance technology landscape, serve as the central contact for ERP processes across international operations, and bridge finance and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own finance module responsibility within the ERP system for existing and future entities within the group
• Configure and enhance ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury
• Participate in and lead sub-projects for finance transformation initiatives, including workflow implementation and automation
• Manage go-lives, rollouts, and continuous development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate closely with finance teams, ERP specialists, and external consulting partners on joint projects
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or commercial training with finance certification
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with solid understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and month-end/year-end closing procedures
• Very good German and English language skills
• Confident use of MS Office and common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Initial experience with digitalization projects and genuine interest in developing processes and systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with consolidation or payment management software
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience

Location and work arrangement: Hannover, Germany. Hybrid flexible working with up to 2 days home office and flextime available.
