Produktmanager Klinikabrechnung / Krankenhausabrechnung (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare software organization seeking a Product Manager for Hospital Billing to join their agile product team. In this role, you will:

• Take central responsibility for developing billing solutions for outpatient and inpatient hospital services
• Develop modules and functionalities around clinical billing systems, including DRG, PEPP, PIA, financial accounting interfaces, and data communication per § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V
• Capture, structure, and evaluate technical, functional, and regulatory requirements for the software solution
• Translate complex billing processes from clinical operations, medical controlling, and patient management into clear product requirements and prioritizable features
• Help shape product strategy with particular focus on billing-relevant processes, regulatory developments, and digitalization of administrative clinical workflows
• Present and discuss software solutions with users, customers, and partners during pilot projects and trade shows

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in outpatient and inpatient hospital billing – for example from a hospital setting, medical controlling, patient management, consulting, or product management
• Strong knowledge of billing-relevant procedures including DRG, PEPP, PIA, payer communication, financial accounting interfaces, and § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V
• Understanding of clinical processes and ability to translate requirements from billing, medical controlling, and administration into digital solutions
• High IT affinity and enthusiasm for actively shaping hospital software and digital processes in healthcare
• Strong conceptual working style with ability to analyze processes systematically and communicate complex topics clearly
• Confident communication skills with diverse stakeholders – from hospital end-users to development, consulting, and sales teams
• Excellent German language skills (C1 level) required
