Product Owner – SDV Data Products (f/m/d)

About the Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AdTech organization seeking a Product Owner to lead delivery for their core data ingestion and processing infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, product strategy, and supplier operations—owning the backlog and technical roadmap for pipelines that power location intelligence and programmatic advertising solutions.

You'll work closely with data engineers, platform architects, and downstream product teams to ensure data signals are fresh, reliable, and scalable. As the technical counterpart to external data suppliers and panel partners, you'll drive schema contracts, integration specs, and operational SLAs that keep the ecosystem running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the squad backlog, translating product strategy into clear, testable user stories for data engineers
• Lead the roadmap for modernizing and scaling high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines
• Manage internal dependencies, SLAs, and schema contracts with downstream teams across measurement, activation, and analytics
• Coordinate releases for new schemas, ingestion endpoints, match logic changes, and signal product enhancements
• Serve as the primary product counterpart to data supplier and panel partner technical teams, co-owning integration specs
• Define, own, and report on operational KPIs including signal freshness, SLA adherence, panel coverage, schema validation pass rate, and match rate
• Establish SLIs, SLOs, and escalation paths in partnership with engineering; own dashboards and alerting for data product health
• Support new supplier partnerships and panel expansion through feasibility input, integration scoping, and prototype delivery

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or technical PM, ideally in AdTech, MarTech, or data-heavy product ecosystems
• Strong delivery and technical-scale management: sequencing complex backend work, mapping dependencies, and scoping against time
• Operationally rigorous mindset—comfortable thinking in SLIs, SLOs, freshness, match rate, and MTTR, not just features shipped
• SQL proficiency (required): able to independently query internal sources to investigate supplier data, panel quality, and pipeline KPIs, and bring quantified evidence into prioritization
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make decisions with limited information
• Privacy-aware product thinking with understanding of data governance and evolving privacy frameworks
• Clear communicator across altitudes—able to translate strategy into specs and engineering reality into product trade-offs
• True ownership mentality: drives outcomes without step-by-step direction and surfaces tensions upward

Nice to Have:

• Based in Berlin or open to periodic visits to the Berlin office
• Prior experience collaborating with identity vendors, panel providers, or purchase-data suppliers on schema and integration work
• Familiarity with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and API documentation tools
