Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential sustainability-focused platform in Freiburg seeking a working student for customer service during evening shifts and Saturdays. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking information about renewable energy and home improvement projects through our client's comparison portals. Your primary responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound telephone communications with prospective customers, gathering detailed project information using structured conversation guides, and documenting requirements in the CRM system so they can be matched with appropriate service providers. This is not a sales role—you'll be focused on understanding customer needs and ensuring accurate data capture. You'll work with modern telephony tools and customer relationship management systems to handle incoming requests efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a university or college for at least two more semesters
- Previous experience in call center environments, customer service, inbound support, or customer care
- Strong customer orientation with service-minded attitude and effective telephone communication skills
- Comfort with standard office technology tools and general digital affinity that enables quick learning of new systems
- German language proficiency at C1 level in both written and spoken communication
- Availability to work 16-20 hours per week during the semester, with potential for 40 hours during semester breaks
- Ability to commit to consistent shift schedules including evening and Saturday availability
