About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their operations team in Glendale, Denver. Our client operates mission-critical cloud services at scale and is building a team focused on operational excellence, automation, and reliability engineering.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work at the intersection of development, infrastructure, and operations to ensure service availability and performance for production systems.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain mission-critical cloud services in production environments
- Improve service reliability metrics and reduce operational risk across the platform
- Design and implement automation to eliminate repetitive operational tasks
- Drive faster detection, diagnosis, and resolution of production incidents
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams on reliability initiatives
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity to proactively identify issues
- Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 service availability
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or production operations
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud services and distributed systems
- Proficiency with automation tools, scripting languages, and infrastructure-as-code
- Deep understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability practices
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
- Experience with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
