About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential sustainability technology client in Munich that is building software solutions for industrial emissions management and environmental impact reduction. Our talent team is seeking a Software Engineer to join their product development organization.

This is a full-stack engineering role with end-to-end feature ownership. You'll work on customer-facing platform modules, collaborating with product, design, and customer success teams to turn complex requirements into production solutions. The position offers a hybrid working model in Munich.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer-facing features from problem definition through implementation, deployment, and iteration
  • Transform ambiguous requirements and user needs into pragmatic, maintainable software solutions
  • Challenge assumptions and participate in product decisions about what features deliver the most value
  • Collaborate closely with product designers and customer success to understand user needs and shape effective solutions
  • Contribute to codebase quality, engineering practices, and overall developer experience
  • Make technical trade-offs and ship production code that creates tangible customer value

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software in TypeScript
  • Strong full-stack capabilities and product thinking with end-to-end systems understanding
  • Backend development experience, ideally with PostgreSQL and Azure
  • Clear, precise communication skills in English
  • Self-driven problem solver with strong ownership and execution mindset

Nice to have:

  • German language skills
