Video Editor – Short-Form & Ad Creative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a U.S.-based marketing agency that serves home service and remodeling brands. Our client needs a talented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into scroll-stopping ad creative that drives real campaign results. This is a high-volume production role where your edits directly impact conversion metrics tracked by media buyers and copywriters.

You'll produce the video content that powers active advertising campaigns, working remotely from the Philippines with a fast-moving creative team. This position requires consistency and speed: a minimum of 30 edited pieces of content per week. Responsibilities

• Edit a minimum of 30 pieces of content per week, primarily short-form vertical video including ads, social clips, talking-head content, and before/after project footage
• Cut raw footage into polished, caption-ready edits with strong hooks, tight pacing, and clean audio
• Produce multiple variations of high-performing ads (new hooks, CTAs, openers) for A/B testing
• Format deliverables correctly for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube placements
• Collaborate directly with media buyers to understand creative performance and iterate on winning content
• Turn scripts and hooks from copywriters into finished video pieces
• Manage your queue through the project management system and consistently hit deadlines
• Maintain organized project files, brand assets, and templates for each client account
• Apply client branding consistently including logos, colors, fonts, and end cards
• Self-review every edit before delivery to ensure clean captions, no dead frames, and correct aspect ratios

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on video editing experience
• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut with the speed to produce 6 finished edits per day
• Portfolio demonstrating short-form edits: ads, reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, and viewer retention—you edit for audiences about to scroll away
• Experience creating captions/subtitles and editing for sound-off viewing
• Organized, deadline-driven approach; volume work requires systems and consistency
• Reliable home office setup with an editing-capable computer and stable, high-speed internet
• Availability for a consistent Monday–Friday full-time schedule with at least 3–4 hours of overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours for team communication

Preferred Experience:

• Experience using AI tools in your workflow (Runway, Descript, ElevenLabs, CapCut AI features, Midjourney, HeyGen, or similar)
• After Effects or motion graphics skills
• Experience editing direct-response ad creative with measurable results
• Familiarity with home services, construction, or local business content
• Thumbnail or static creative design skills (Canva, Photoshop)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $4.50 – $7.50 USD per hour, paid in USD. Full-time hours approximate ₱48,000 – ₱80,000 per month depending on exchange rates. Placement within the range depends on speed, skill level, and portfolio strength, with a formal review at 90 days. Performance bonuses are tied to creative performance and output consistency. After 90 days, healthcare benefits are provided—you select the HMO plan that fits your needs and the employer covers it through a monthly benefit.

This is a fully remote, full-time position with a growth path into Senior Editor or Creative Lead roles as the team scales.
