Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking an Account Executive to develop their public sector business across Germany. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing new opportunities with healthcare, NGO, energy, education, and government accounts.
- Develop new prospects and expand existing relationships within the German public sector
- Manage complex sales cycles using a consultative approach
- Deliver presentations that demonstrate how technology solutions solve customer challenges
- Communicate product developments to prospective and existing clients
- Partner with strategic technology partners to build pipeline and ensure successful collaboration
- Attend remote and on-site meetings, trade fairs, and partner events
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, partners, and cross-functional teams to close deals
- Work with business development and account specialist teams to maximize territory coverage
- Execute effective sales campaigns ensuring maximum penetration of key accounts
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting within CRM systems
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or relevant vocational training
- 3–5 years of software or technology sales experience
- Experience selling to the German public sector is a strong plus
- Proven executive-level selling capabilities (both business and technical audiences)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative
- Track record of surpassing performance goals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Quick thinking and adaptability
- Fluent in German and English
