About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Senior Clinical Knowledge Base Manager to join their Medical Affairs team. This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Our client develops evidence-based clinical libraries used by healthcare payers and providers to support utilization management, quality of care initiatives, and reimbursement decisions. As a nurse on their team, you'll build and maintain oncology treatment libraries that directly impact patient care pathways nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Build and review oncology treatment regimens based on clinical studies and national practice guidelines
• Facilitate ongoing review and updates of clinical content libraries to ensure accuracy and currency
• Perform annual reviews to maintain current evidence-based standards
• Conduct medical literature searches and interpret clinical study results
• Review FDA labels, clinical research, and medical policies to inform library content
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional colleagues to evaluate and develop library content
• Train and mentor other Knowledge Base Managers
• Lead new client implementations for medical policy and clinical pathway integration
• Analyze and create rules to enable medical policy coverage determinations
• Review impact of library changes on client medical policies
• Support integration of biomarker and genomic diagnostic parameters into clinical content
• Participate in and lead project teams focused on clinical content and software functionality improvements
• Communicate rationale for content decisions to stakeholders and medical staff

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Current active unrestricted Registered Nursing (RN) license
• 5-7 years of clinical experience in oncology
• Research and writing experience
• Ability to work independently while meeting operational and project timelines
• Strong clinical decision-making skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clinical and IT teams
• Experience reviewing and interpreting clinical literature and practice guidelines

Strongly Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Oncology nursing certification (OCN or similar)
