Sr. CRA 1 – Site Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global life sciences organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to join their Site Management team. This remote position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful impact in clinical research while advancing your professional development in a growing team environment.

As a Senior CRA, you will perform comprehensive site monitoring and management activities to ensure studies are conducted in compliance with protocols, regulations, and sponsor requirements. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity and supporting successful clinical trial execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site monitoring visits including selection, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice standards
• Collaborate with sites to develop, implement, and track subject recruitment plans that align with project timelines and enhance predictability
• Deliver protocol training to assigned sites and maintain regular communication to manage expectations and resolve issues
• Evaluate site practices for quality and protocol adherence, escalating concerns as appropriate to protect study integrity
• Track and manage study progress including regulatory submissions, enrollment metrics, case report form completion, and data query resolution
• Ensure Trial Master File and Investigator Site File documentation meets GCP and regulatory requirements
• Create comprehensive visit reports, follow-up letters, and monitoring documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional study team members to support project execution
• May support site financial management and invoice processing according to clinical trial agreements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare field required
• Minimum 2 years of on-site clinical monitoring experience required
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and International Conference on Harmonization guidelines
• Solid understanding of clinical research regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and mobile technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients
• Financial management skills for site budget oversight
• Remote work setup capability in the United States
