Data Center Cabling & Quality Specialist

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology infrastructure organization currently undertaking a large-scale data center deployment. We're seeking an experienced Data Center Cabling & Quality Specialist to join this critical project in Sankt Leon-Rot, Germany. This role focuses on operational quality control of structured cabling installations on-site, ensuring all work meets the highest standards for mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise structured cabling installations throughout the data center facility
• Conduct on-site inspections of work performed by external installation contractors
• Verify all installations against defined cabling standards and established quality criteria
• Identify, document, and track quality issues, deviations, and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate quality findings directly and professionally to installation contractors
• Ensure full compliance with data center industry standards and cabling specifications
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for installation quality processes
• Assist with cable routing planning and site layout activities

What We're Looking For

• Several years of hands-on experience in structured cabling installation, ideally within data center environments
• Strong practical background in physical cabling and installation work—not purely design or architectural roles
• Demonstrated experience with cable routing, site planning, and installation layout execution
• Deep knowledge of cabling standards and technical quality criteria applicable to data centers
• Experience in quality control, installation supervision, or construction monitoring is highly advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong quality awareness throughout all work phases
• Confident communication skills with the ability to address quality concerns directly with external contractors
• Very good English language skills for technical documentation and contractor coordination
